As a second-generation South Asian woman who has personally experienced challenges with navigating and accessing mental health resources while growing up, I strive to decolonize the therapy space and dismantle traditional forms of psychotherapy in order to cultivate an environment and practice that is culturally sensitive, inclusive, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, client-centered and holistic. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients by integrating a therapeutic approach that is tailored to their particular needs. I have specialized training in trauma and my professional experience includes working in private, health and community sectors in Vancouver and Toronto. I have worked with diverse clientele providing individual and couples therapy to those experiencing mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual health, life transitions and interpersonal relationship challenges.

Having someone actively listen without placing blame, shame, guilt, or judgment can be the support needed when you’re struggling to cope. I am dedicated to cultivating a safe and nonjudgemental space for clients to transform their emotional pain into strength, self-actualization, and fulfillment on their journey towards healing and returning back to themselves.
